Yasamin is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), committed to creating a comfortable, understanding, and non-judgemental space for her clients to truly feel empowered. Ever since she was young, she knew she wanted to pursue a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. She strongly recognizes the importance of the client/therapist relationship and focuses on building rapport and incorporating creativity and fun into her sessions with children and their families, allowing all clients to openly and comfortably navigate and explore their unique experiences and circumstances. She believes that the client is the expert of their own life, and she is there to help guide them on their therapy journey.

Yasamin received her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a specialization in children and their families and completed her practicum at Lumenus Community Services. Yasamin has also earned her Bachelor of Social work from Lakehead University, where she completed her practicum at Victim Services of Toronto. She has also worked and volunteered in various organizations, such as 360 kids, and Child Victim Witness Centre.
