Yasamin Zia Saidi, BSW, MSW, RSW

Yasamin is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. She believes that meaningful change happens within strong, trusting relationships, and places great importance on building genuine connections with the children, youth, and families she works with.

Yasamin has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and parents, and understands that each member of the family plays an important role in a child’s well-being. She works collaboratively not only with young clients, but also with caregivers - helping them feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools to navigate challenges together. Her approach is rooted in the belief that therapy is most effective when the whole system feels engaged, supported, and understood.

She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in children and their families. Yasamin has worked with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, family conflict, and suicidal ideation. She also offers ADHD coaching, supporting children, youth, and parents in building practical strategies, confidence, and self-understanding.

Yasamin uses a client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach, tailoring each session to the unique needs of the individual and family. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, art-based therapy, and narrative therapy. She thoughtfully blends strong clinical and theoretical expertise with her own lived experience to create a therapeutic space that feels both safe and effective.

Above all, Yasamin believes that clients are the experts in their own lives. Her role is to walk alongside them, offering guidance, curiosity, and care - as they explore their experiences, strengthen their relationships, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
